Great product works and doesn’t dehydrate skin! Love that it’s easy to easy and transport

I use b-wash when I travel which is pretty often. It doesn't strip the skin and lathers very nicely. I have recommended this product to many friends and family.

I like a cream cleanser in the morning and the one I’d been using was discontinued. I tried several others but was unhappy with them. I finally decided to follow the advice of @sambythecounter and try b-wash. Perfection! The powder turns creamy with just a bit of water. You can even customize the feel, more creamy or more foamy. It’s perfect for my light morning cleanse. B-wash rinses like a dream, leaving nothing behind. Afterwards my face feels so soft and refreshed. I like that there are no actives in this cleanser so I can proceed with the rest of my routine as needed. I’ve even started using it on no makeup days because I love the feel of my skin after using. This stuff is amazing!

b-wash ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS leaves my skin feeling so soft, supple, and clean. it's never drying or stripping, so gentle and easy to use, FUN and feels like i'm treating my skin with the care it deserves. my all time favourite cleanser- I don't think I will ever turn to anything else! It has just the right amount of foam, and even after a first cleanse with an oil or balm, still leaves me feeling clean. thank you!!

When I use B wash before bed to help cleanse my face after it feeling greasy in the day, it feels so good and makes my skin feel so clean.

I like to use it to double cleanse after removing my make up with oil. I feel like it gently gets the rest of what I may have missed off without drying my skin. It's also such a velvety experience making my own suds. I ordered two more so that I don't ever run out!

Gentle, hydrating, and a great creamy texture. A little goes a long way so it's very worth the price. Love to take it travelling as it's obviously leak-proof and doesn't count against your plane carry-on liquids. I normally like to use a gentle cleanser in the AM and a more thorough cleanser in the PM but this one manages to accomplish both.

This is my favorite facial cleanser to use in the shower, and to bring along for travel. The powder produces this fluffy smooth cream that almost feels like it's lathering, but not a drying lather in the slightest. I like that I can control the texture with how much water I'm adding. I've been through multiple bottles and I feel like the formulation is just getting better and better. It's simple but elegant and a delight to use. I like that there are no actives in it and that I can use it every day no matter my skin state. I have sensitive acne rosacea skin that reddens easily, and this cleanser never gives me any issues. I also feel like it softens my skin too.

I bought this stuff to see if it would work as a travel cleanser and it passed with flying colours! I have very sensitive skin and can only use non-fragranced cleanser without actives in them. For reference, I normally use the La Roche posay cleanser in the white bottle which is basically like washing your face with a moisturizer. This stuff is awesome because 1) it’s very easy to use, just put a little bit in your hand and I add some water to it to form a nice lather 2) it’s very gentle, I had no irritation at all using this and the lather is very soft it didn’t dry my skin out 3) it cleans your face, I used this after seeing beyonce in Vancouver and after i did my first cleanse I used this and it helped me wash off all the sweat, makeup, and grime off my face 4) it’s so convenient for travelling, I don’t have to worry about liquids with carry on travel and I don’t have to depot my cleanser at home. I’ve told all my friends about it and will be using it on an upcoming backpacking trip and next year for camping :)

My favorite step is cleansing and i love trying out new cleansers but this one is for sure a repurchase. Feels great on the skin, non stripping and cleanses well. and at a great price point too

This cleanser is such a joy to use. It’s very gentle and silky. I love the feel on my skin during and after. Highly recommend.

I had heard great reviews about build skincare and I wanted a powder cleanser for an upcoming trip so I thought I'd try this one out especially since it does nothing but cleanse which was a huge selling point for me!

Unfortunately, my skin did not like it. This was rhe only thing I added to my routine and it caused irritation and just an overall more textured look to my skin which went away after discontinuing use of the product.

It's a shame as I wanted this to work out, guess I'll use it on my body. I did like the lather and it was shipped very quickly so everything else but the product performance was great!

While my go to cleansers are usually gels, I ended up enjoying this way more than I thought. I just finished mine and I have to say it is a really unique product. This cleanser starts out as a finely milled powder, and when you add water it turns into a thin creamy cleanser. It is cleansing without being stripping, or irritating, and leaves skin feeling so smooth and soft. I noticed using the correct amount makes a big difference, at first I was using too little so definitely use the recommended amount!

I can't look at purchasing any other cleanser because I keep comparing it to B-wash. It's been so easy, no stress (literally a skin saviour). You don't need heaps to create a silky clean cleanse. And such a wonderful travel companion (no spills). I keep asking myself, whether I need an active in my cleanser, when B-W gives me a clean slate for the rest of my skincare to take care of the actives bit. Thanks for developing a Basic Beauty!

I have rosacea acne prone skin that reacts to everything (eg LRP Toleraine cleanser). I saw Sambythecounter’s many mentions of b-wash and wondered if this would be good for me. Also it ticked a lot of boxes for what I look for - local brand for me, non irritating ingredients, science backed, environmental friendly packaging. I am so glad I bought this! It cleanses but leaves my face feeling moisturizer! My skin isn’t red and irritated post wash. Thankfully I bought 2 because it’s now sold out!

I was never a fan of powder-cleansers, mostly out of laziness. But I'm beyond impressed with B-wash. The powder forms a ridiculously creamy lather that gives a deep clean with zero dryness afterwards. I can use this all over my face and over my eyes, twice a day with zero irritation. Absolutely love this simple but effective formula!

If I could give 10 stars I would so gentle; never used a powdered cleanser before; just thrilled with it. One of your first Aussie customers hope we can order again!

I bought this because of Sam by the Counter’s recommendation on Insta. I’ve used a lot of cleansers so it’s rare for something to stand out. And this really does! First of all, the powder to cream action is really fun and cool. I like to switch up textures to keep my routine fresh, and this is perfect. The powder turns into a silky smooth cream, with no grittiness at all. It feels luxurious and spa-like and expensive to use. I love it! I use it as a first cleanse in the morning and a second cleanse in the evening. It’s gentle enough for days when I’ve overdone it on actives. It leaves my skin feeling soft and balanced. Such an excellent and outstanding formula!

I've never used a power to cream cleanser before, and I'm in love! It's so much fun to use and b-wash leaves my skin feeling so fresh & soft. It doesn't dry out my skin or make it feel tight like some other cleansers do. My skin and sense of smell are both very sensitive, so I LOVE that it's fragrance free. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a nice and gentle cleanser! <3

As of now, I've used this cleanser 3 times and I can't get enough! It truly hold to its description & I don't feel like my face is stripped or dry after using it. I used (still kinda use) the Vanicream daily facial cleanser and I felt like my skin was a bit too stripped after using it - I was 19 when I discovered it and now with years of suspected seborrheic dermatitis my skin has changed quite a bit (I'm 23 now).
I love that you can 'customize' the cleanser by adding more powder or water based on your skin's needs. Although it's very simple, its efficacy speaks for itself. It's so hard to find basic/bland skincare products in a market full of actives and extracts. Thank you so much for creating this line, its seriously a godsend for my sensitive a** skin. I can't wait to see what this brand does in the future!

I have used a similar product as b-wash, except it came from Paris and cost three times as much. All I can say is you won't be sorry! Leaves my face clean and fresh but without the dryness. I absolutely love it!
