with the help of squalane, medium-chain triglycerides and occlusive powerhouse petrolatum, b-balm creates a thin barrier that helps to moisturize and lock in hydration. b-balm's hybrid gel-balm texture is velvety-smooth and highly spreadable, melting into the skin to provide immediate moisturizing, softening and soothing benefits. although waterless and highly emollient, b-balm feels featherlight on the skin.

use b-balm as the last step in your skincare routine. for light application warm a small amount of product between your palms and press into the dry areas of your face. to intensely moisturize dry areas - apply a small amount directly. b-balm can be used in place of a moisturizer or on top of a moisturizer.

b-balm is suitable for all skin types. it's lightweight but deeply moisturizing without feeling heavy or greasy. b-balm is great not only on your facial skin but can be used on dry lips, nail cuticles or even knees and elbows!

compared to pure petrolatum, b-balm is much less occlusive. b-balm is mostly gelled emollients so you feel it penetrating the skin and moisturizing while leaving behind a lightweight barrier to prevent water loss.

b-balm is anhydrous meaning it does not contain water. bacteria and fungi need water to grow and multiply. it's important to apply b-balm with clean hands to reduce the risk of contamination to both b-balm and your skin, maintaining its efficacy and hygiene.

I created b-balm out of a need for something incredibly basic yet incredibly moisturizing. my sister and I both use prescription acne creams. occasionally we get extreme dryness around our eyes and on our necks. I couldn't find anything on the market with an ingredient composition like b-balm. b-balm is ultra-moisturizing - there's no water in the formulation. it is extremely gentle and incredibly nourishing and suitable for acne prone skin (don't let petrolatum fool you). I like to use b-balm around my eyes at night and on particularly dry days I take a very small amount, warm it between my palms and pat it all over my face. you can think of it as a solid facial oil.

Absolutely loved the texture

Absolutely loved the texture. Much easier to work with as a slugging layer than castor oil or aquephor. You can use just a tiny amount of product to seal in the other products you have used.

Love the balm light weight but very occlusive

Wanted to love

Have only been using for 2 weeks but sad to say I’ll have to use on my body/ as a hand cream as it broke me out in areas I don’t ever experience blocked pores. It’s a shame because the cream really feels lightweight and blends easily. Will keep trying the other products in the range !

A pleasant surprise!

I purchased the b-balm & the b-cream about 2 months ago, but just recently started using them. I'm sorry I waited so long!! ! I am in my mid 50's and have dehydrated, textured skin. I use the b-balm at night over a retinol serum, and then finish with the b-cream. My skin has been so soft and is visibly in much better condition. I love that the balm gives my skin so much moisture but doesn't feel greasy or heavy. I'm also thrilled to support an indie brand! I will definitely repurchase. Saved me from eyelid eczema

I’ve been dealing with the worst eyelid eczema this month and nothing was helping it. But this was a huge game changer for me because it was lightweight enough that it wasn’t irritating my eyes but still providing lots of soothing and occlusive properties. I would put on a thick moisturizer like avene cicalfate and then the B balm on top and my eczema started clearing up in a few days.
I also prefer using this over Vaseline for slugging nights because it doesn’t leave a heavy film feeling on your face which isn’t super pleasant to sleep with. I’m always gonna keep a stash of this in my bathroom because of how much of a difference it made with my eczema.

it's quite emollient and people aren't kidding when they say you need just a little. you can just lightly dab your finger in and it will be enough to target areas that need a little bit more moisture.

Great For Dry Skin On Tret

I have normal to dry skin and I’m obsessed with this balm!! I get dry patches all over my face because of tret and it makes it impossible to wear makeup. Usually I just slap some vaseline on my face but this balm is much more cosmetically elegant AND I can wear a thin layer under my makeup if needed. Plus I never wake up looking crepey now 🫶🏼

Honestly an amazing product. I tried the concept of face oil, slugging, balms before and never liked it. left me greasy and uncomfortable but this one is great. You only need a small amount and it honestly saved my skin after an eleven hours flight. such an elegant formula and great product.

I purchased both the b cream and b balm and was extremely impressed by both. I have oily skin and found the b cream to be the perfect consistency, leaving my skin feeling fresh, hydrated and glowy but not greasy. The texture of it is beautiful. As is the texture of the b balm - it’s like a more elegant version of petroleum jelly. I only wish these products were available at Mecca stores in Australia so I didn’t have to buy them online!

Trying to find an alternative to the original formula was so hard, and when I saw the re-launch I just knew I had to get her. This new formula is amazing!! The feel, the slip, the occlusivity. This is so good, it's like a skincare cheat code (old formula)

I've been struggling with super sensitive dry skin and cystic acne, and I've always had peeling skin on my nose no matter what I did. I don't know what I did to deserve the b-balm, this has fixed all of the flakes and dry spots on my face. Also, my skin that usually breaks out from everything has been clearing up. This is a dream come true in a jar.

I also have been searching for a good lip balm/mask since my favorite one had been discontinued a few years ago - The b-balm is even better than my old favorite. If you're just searching for a lip balm/mask, this is honestly worth it just for that.

The b-balm is better at multi-tasking than any academic overachiever that I've ever met. It fixed everything I wished it would. I love it.

Elegant occlusive (old formula)

I bought this to use for slugging nights as a more elegant alternative to Vaseline/Cerave Ointment, etc. It is a nicer texture and absorbs better into the skin than the aforementioned products. I also like to use it as a lip balm and nighttime lip mask, and on some of the flaky patches I get on my eyebrows and eyelids during the winter months. I layer it over the B-Cream and together they make a really nice combo for nights when I need some extra moisture or when my skin is recovering from overdoing it on retinol/acids.

Happily Hydrated (old formula)

I love b-balm for it’s versatility. When I need a little extra facial hydration I apply some over my regular moisturizer before bed. But I use it most frequently on my lips! In the winter it helps combat the dry air, and in the summer it comes to the rescue after a little too much fun in the sun. I love that you don’t need much at all for it to work it’s magic!
